Beautiful Ugly

My books have always been a place to hide myself inside myself when the real world gets too loud.

He’s chasing something he’ll never find, but we’re all guilty of that.

“People rarely know what they have until they lose it. They spend their lives searching for a better one, wanting more, needing more, blind to the fact that they already had it all. I think sometimes it’s only when something gets taken from a person that they appreciate what they had.

Humanity is broken, you write about that fact every day, why would you want to bring a child into this world? Children are expensive and high-maintenance and they don’t come with an off switch. None of our friends with kids are happy and they all look permanently exhausted.”

Having a baby doesn’t always mean unconditional love and happy families.”

Wishing you could change the script of your life when the scene is over is pointless.
