To put it simply, Grief is a bitch, and she likes to hit you where it hurts. I swear she’s Karma’s two-faced sister.

We all blame ourselves after a death, wishing we’d talked to that person more, or hugged them one last time. Wishing we hadn’t yelled at them, cursed them out, or ignored their phone calls. Guilt. Shame. Hurt. It’s all tangled in the same web.
grieving people hurt in a different way. Sometimes we punish or blame ourselves.
