I Might Be in Trouble

I was never looking for Jeremy until I found him. I never imagined how sweet life could be when you have somebody to love and who loves you back. I never thought I would become the kind of guy who used the pronoun we instead of I when making plans, or the kind whose entire existence could revolve around a man. When I was with Jeremy, I became all of those things. I learned that buying movie tickets and making dinner reservations is always better in pairs, that time has no laws or meaning when you’re listening to a story told by the person you love, and that secrets whispered beneath the covers after having sex on Sunday mornings are the most intimate a human being can share.
