Then, Again

The flip side of “love is letting go,” then, is that if you never come back, you were never mine to begin with. I already came back to you, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. And so I’ll wait to see if you ever come back to me.

If love is letting go, then I am truly in love with you. Maybe, one day, you’ll come back, and I’ll know: You’re in love with me, too.
