What did Hazel know? Well, at the moment, she knew she was happy for rainy days and ooey-gooey breakfast treats.
His voice was low and rough like those two words meant so much more than he spoke out loud. Like maybe he meant, me too, you’re my favorite person, too. Me too, I have all my favorite days with you.
Because what more did one need besides good friends, good books, and the occasional cinnamon bun?
He should get her inside, make her some tea, tuck her in his bed, never let her go.
