Amber didn’t have to marry me, but to be fair, her parents were going to make it very hard for her if she didn’t. Had the man that she was in love with been able to whisk her away and provide for her, she could have defied her parents and been with him anyway. But her parents made it clear to her that if she didn’t marry me, she would be cut off financially.
This is Amber reasoning.. but Royals reasoning was weak. She was sold and bought. He could have declined. Which makes him just as wrong.
