An Enemy Called Average

Mediocrity is a region bound on the north by compromise, on the south by indecision, on the east by past thinking, and on the west by a lack of vision.

Instead, it was the phrase “an enemy called average.”

Lukewarm, indecisive people are never secure regardless of their wealth, education, or position.

Three times the Lord said to Joshua, “Be strong and courageous” (Josh. 1:6,7,9). I believe He is saying that to each one of us today.

If you don’t like the tone of your life, choose to take the offensive position and watch what happens.

When you choose to act on the offensive, keep all your conflicts impersonal. Fight the issue, not the person.

Speak about what God within you can do, not about what others are incapable of doing.

A basketball team that never takes a shot never wins a game.

Wow. Think, teach and model teamwork.

Thinking on the offensive and taking the initiative are the master keys that open doors of opportunity in your life.
