She twisted the knife, literally and figuratively.
“I knew you had a spark inside you, Callie. I just hadn’t thought it’d end up being a whole fucking inferno,”
“You’re still the villain, Malum. You will always be the villain.
“You’re looking pretty evil yourself right now, darling,”
“No one expects an angel to set the world on fire,”
“No one touches my future queen but me unless they want their head cut off,”
I wonder how much I could’ve loved him with a whole heart?
Eventually, it led me to Mendax. He was my final test of allegiance, my big fish to freedom.
“Mendax is dead.”
