“Be who you were meant to be, Tessalyn,” he said, his voice low. “My freedom depends on it.”
“You stand on the precipice of salvation and destruction, Tessalyn. Choose wisely.”
“You’re the one who has always known she wasn’t the one for this, and now I know why.” “What does that mean?” Luka asked, extinguishing the flames in his palm. “It’s nothing I can explain now.”
“There is no way they know she’s essentially Achaz, Zinta, Arius, and Serafina. They would have already killed her,” Theon said. “They would have never let her get this strong or this powerful.”
You’ve forgotten, Theon said. Forgotten what? That I’ll always fight for you. You’ll forever be mine.
“But wishes and hope are for the innocent and the heroes, not the monsters and the villains, so I no longer bother with either.”
Then on your knees, clever tempest, Theon answered.
For the fucking flip-flops.
“Tessalyn Ausra, I would sacrifice all the realms and all the stars for you. You are perfectly wild. Perfectly untamed. You were not made to be caged, nor were you made to be a sacrifice for a realm that does not deserve such a gift. You were made to live in the light. Go live, little storm.”
