Be Ready When the Luck Happens

“Sometimes you have to trust that the hard times, the pain and the tragedies in life have purpose. They may make no sense at the time, may bring you to your knees and you will wonder why this hell is happening and if you’ll ever get through it. But trust is your trajectory, sending you along your path, and if you listen, learn, heal and grow along the way, things will one day make sense.”

I knew the past couldn’t hurt me now, but it’s always there deep inside. It’s what we do with those feelings that can determine the rest of our lives.

the definition of a good marriage is that each person thinks they got the better deal.

The people I’ve known who are successful have faced enormous challenges, but they didn’t let the challenges stop them—they figured out some way over the wall or around the wall, or they just smashed the wall down.

I learned, and continue to learn, from their stories that seemingly insurmountable problems not only make us who we are but can propel us to exactly the place we want to be.

We all need only one person to believe in us,

I concentrate on what’s in front of me and work hard because I love what I do, and I have fun doing it. And then I leave the door open, so I’ll be ready when the luck happens.

We all need just one person to really believe in us in order to realize our dreams.
