I believe we are all made artists at the moment we apply our creativity.

Witnessing this outpouring of creativity made me understand something about art I hadn’t previously grasped. In times of genuine crisis, people don’t shrink away from art and strip their lives back to the essential elements for physical survival. In fact, the opposite is true: it is when we are really struggling that we have the greatest need for art.

treating the business of shaping reality as a work of art is often a much more fun way to go about things.
