We knew something he, like so many of you, couldn’t conceive of—that a good business school is only a good business school. Neither Harvard nor Columbia nor Kellogg can ensure that there’s going to be a bridge waiting for you when you get to the Red Sea. You have to make the Red Sea part on your own. Your future ultimately depends on you, not which school you go to.
