I’ve been chasing after love my entire life, wanting that gratification of meaning something to another person. But life doesn’t work that way. People don’t work that way.
“Did you get your dick sucked?” Kit pipes up, his tongue playing along his bottom lip. Disgust contorts my features. “Did I get my—no, I didn’t get my dick sucked. And why is that your question for everything I do?”
Don’t deprive yourself of happiness because you’re afraid to get hurt.”
“Knowing you read has made you ten times more attractive.”
“I’m sorry that you’ve lived the majority of your life without knowing how extraordinary you are,” he says, pressing his forehead against mine, “but I’m glad that I got to be the first to tell you.”
“Do you need me to prove it to you? How I’d give anything to be the last man to touch you?”
“I’d cross the ocean to tell you I missed you.”
“Your stretch marks are beautiful. Everyone has them in different areas of their body, and you wear yours like battle armor. Scars are reminders of what we’ve endured, but also reminders of what we’ve overcome.”
“I never want you to hide from me. I want every part of you, as you are. You’re beautiful, and I’ll remind you every day until you believe me.”
