I shrug like the dick I am.

I took it because I had to. I had no right to complain. In fact, I had to be grateful for it, and trust that for some reason I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I had no business feeling sorry for myself.

walk away from a challenging unfinished project? I don’t think so.

I climbed right up on my high horse and blasted him.

“I love you so much it makes me want to cry.”

What on earth would we all do without one another?

the fact that learning is still very high on my list of things I’m zealous about and refuse to quit gives me confidence that, personally and professionally, I’ve still got a long way to go.
