The way that hearing “Fox News” breaks people’s brains is a symptom of what has really broken people’s brains, and that is binary thinking… if it can even be called “thinking” at all. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Binary thinking is the enemy of critical thinking. For some reason, we’ve largely limited ourselves to just two options on so many crucial, complex issues.
