The God who limits his sovereignty by creating humans in his image is the God who limits his sovereignty as he lies in the manger. The God who shares his sovereignty by placing the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Eden is the God who shares his sovereignty as he hangs on the tree at Golgotha.

By the grace of God, we have a choice. We often think of God’s Grace as removing a choice, but it is in God’s sovereignly sharing his sovereignty with us that God offers us the grace to choose his love.
