Iris disappears around the side of the house and comes back with his German shepherd … wearing a white dress. The dog, not Iris. Though I wouldn’t have put it past him. “Do Atlas and Lemon know about that?” I ask Saint. “Yes, but I think they thought he was joking.” Trust Iris to bring the entertainment, but not only has he made Princess the ring bearer, but he’s assigned himself the role of flower person. He walks down the aisle, throwing white flower petals above his head while Princess tries to catch them in her mouth. Iris struts, and he spins, continuously reaching into a black fanny pack

“Saint and I are getting married!” Iris points at me. “Ha, I’m not stealing your thunder if I said it first.”
“You’re moving in together?” Iris coos. “That’s so exciting! But not as exciting as Saint and me getting hitched.” Iris holds up his left hand to show off a plain band on his finger. Trav rubs his jaw. “Well, I wasn’t going to say anything, but seeing as Iris tried to steal your thunder, I guess I should steal his. Rogue and I are getting married.” “Noooo,” Iris calls out while everyone else mutters something like “about time.”
“If I recall, you also said you’d never fall in love,” Saint says. “Iris, I don’t like your fiancé. Shush him for me.”
