Unfortunately it is often a whole world of pain. Agile is a really great idea in many ways but it was born of developers and, unfortunately, the vast majority of Agile projects are still very much development-led. This means that there is very little room for designers to work in an Agile way and many developers are actually really uncomfortable working with designers who are also working Agile and therefore don’t know the whole story of what we’re building yet either!
