You know those moments when the stars align? Where the universe is good, the world is generous, and everything just works out perfectly? Yeah, me neither.
Mrs. Fleming follows my gaze and grins. “He’s been on the phone with his little sister for an hour,” she tells me. “Miss Emma is also an omega. He’s asking her for advice on how to make you more comfortable.”
“If you want me around, you’ll have to share, big guy. Archer says I’m a hot commodity.” Theo reminds me of a school-kid convincing his teacher he can behave, zealously nodding at her with wide eyes. “Sharing. Cool. Yup. Sharing is caring. I love sharing. You got it, peaches.”
“You know I’ve known you for our entire lives,” he huffs. “Why are you bullshitting me right now?” Because I just about fucked our couch cushion, and it wasn’t exactly my proudest moment.
Declan smirks at me, his eyes fixed on my face. The expression is cocky and goading. Like he jerks his packmates off at my request every day.
Theo Fuck em But not, like, literally, Dec. Save that shit for the pack. Declan You wish, big guy.
“I love it when you look like this.” Her lips curve. “Like what?” I smile, hauling her up into my lap. “Like mine.”
Behind me, I barely hear Archer’s shell-shocked whisper. “Ronan—she likes research.” And for the first time since we met, our alpha laughs.
“I… I guess I’ve been wondering about—” Bonding. The word is right there, balanced on the tip of my tongue. But I chicken out and substitute the very first thought that comes to mind. “—double-penetration.” Oh. My. God. Kill me.
Someone might actually fucking die if Declan doesn’t get up. And it might not be me who kills them. It may be Meg.
“Did Ronan and Arch take good care of you last night?” he asks, still full of genuine amusement. “I could hear you. It gave me some excellent dreams. Where was our big guy?”
Ronan Who took my omega? Archer Our* omega Theo My bad, Daddy. Declan Is Daddy a thing now?
