Conventionally, Aleron was... well, he was ugly. He had a skull for a face. Then there were all the other animalistic aspects about him. However, when one looked past the veil of normality and human ideology, there was definitely much more to be seen. Sure, he looked like a deity of death, but there was beauty in dying. There was beauty in decay and rot. Aleron radiated magnificence.
“Is that the Demon King’s castle?” Gideon asked, peering over his arm. “Looks like he needs to remodel it.”
“I know there is a small bandit camp not far from here. I noticed it when we flew over and originally found this place.” He looked away from her when Aleron went roaring across the clearing, with Ingram hot on his feathered tail. “I’m going to take him there.”
