Why do we exist? Why is knowledge meaningful? Only when these questions are answered will we move forward upon a sure foundation and build a knowledge that endures. Knowing how something works is useless unless we also know why it works. Knowing how to sing means nothing if we do not know why we sing. Knowing how to love is useless unless we know why we love. Knowing how to acquire knowledge is futile if we know not why we value knowledge nor how knowledge serves us.
