The imaginary battle between faith and reason, between theology and science, is a ploy to distract us from proper knowledge acquisition. Matters of faith are rarely, if ever, in conflict with matters of reason. This conflict model is at odds with both the biblical mandate to rule over the earth and create civilization through knowledge (Gen. 1:27–31; Ps. 8), and the historical evidence which suggests men of faith were the true founders of modern science.
