Between our malfunctioning intellect and perfectly healthy ignorance, we think that commitment to human reason will lead the honest, rational, thinking man away from belief in God. On the contrary, commitment to human reason leads to nowhere but skepticism. Only when God designs the cognitive material and instills proper function can knowledge happen. If anyone is so bold as to suggest that knowledge exists, his claim must be accompanied by belief in God.
