Because when a group is ingrained with the stereotypes perpetuated by the dominant society about that group, it leads to feelings of self-doubt, disgust, and disrespect for one’s group and/or oneself.
So yes, I suppose you could say there is another side to the story, but that other side is denying my right to live, which is why I am not as accepting of it as some might want me to be.
However, there are twenty-three countries where Islam is the official state religion and thirteen where Christianity is the official state religion and only one Jewish state. Why target that state in particular?
“Zionism has had oppressive consequences for Palestinians.” Not antisemitic: again, objectively true and drawing attention to these consequences and not inaccurately demonizing the actions of an entire group.
