Brigade was committed to a series of moves that could not be stopped half way and which required the heavy use of air transport. This forced the energetic Wilson to take, or allow to be taken, a series of hasty decisions that culminated in my having to get them out of a jam into which they quite willingly seemed to walk, or fly.
