“You need to get over your hero complex. Not everyone needs rescuing,” she shot, leaving Luke to seethe at her back.

She rolled over in a huff. “Just stay on your side of the tent, Hancock, or risk losing a treasured part of your anatomy.”

The conditions were not favorable for the standard practical jokes: making him pee on himself by placing his hand in warm water, putting hot sauce on his lips, or a ripe tomato in his bed. Alas, she had no warm water, no hot sauce, and no ripe tomatoes handy.
