The world errs, even realises the errors, but seldom learns from them.
wisdom often comes from the pain suffered by oneself.

Love is a lofty sentiment in life but duty is even higher.

They turn their backs on men who chase them and they chase men who turn their backs on them.
tears are the sign of a weak mind.
‘The Creator must be troubled these days because he cannot make anything more beautiful than you.’
The man whose soul is prey to selfishness, desire and enjoyment is forever a slave in this world.
Life and death. What a cruel game it is! Is man born only to take part in that game? What does he live for? Why does he die?
‘Good and evil are imaginary concepts put out by clever men and fools. In this world, only happiness and misery are real. Everything else is delusion. Good and bad are appearances ... the play of the mind.
youth is not completely a blessing, it also carries a curse.
Desire — desire in any form — is it man’s fault? No; desire is the very basis of life.
The joy of dying for someone else is a hundred times greater than the joy of living for oneself.
