He takes out the pack of cigarettes from his back pocket and crushes it in his palm. I gasp at the sight, but he just smiles. He disposes of it in the trash and walks back over to me.

“What the hell did you take?” “What do you mean?” I ask him. “Your eyes. They’re bloodshot. What the fuck did you take?” he growls, staring into my eyes. “Nothing,” I cry out, hearing the tapping noise get louder. “Please, angel. Just tell me. What did you take?” he asks again.
“Grayson,” I choke out. “Make it stop.”

I hate the fact that she was going through that alone.
