NASTY - Ariana Grande
CLOSE - Nick Jonas ft Tove Lo TOUCH IT - Ariana Grande
Aiden Pierce. Redfield’s basketball captain.
There’s nothing I miss about Texas. It’s always way too hot, too many bugs, and, oh yeah, my family lives there. For eighteen years, I’ve wanted to escape that hellhole, and now that I have, nothing in my body misses home. I hated it there.
“Can you talk to Grayson about it?” he asks.
“He doesn’t do that anymore,” I tell him, stuffing the paper in my pocket. He stops in his tracks. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“It’s business class. It’s...

“For you. I don’t have time for this shit. I have practice all week.” “Coach still busting your balls?”
“You have it easy.” His eyes narrow, and he lets out a laugh. “He treats you with kid gloves.”
know your secret. What the fuck? My eyebrows bunch up, my eyes burning a hole into the screen. I head towards the door, push it open and look around at… nothing. No one’s there.
get another text, but there’s no name, no words, just a picture. My throat burns at the picture in front of me. How the fuck did they get this?
“She said the only reason I was bi was because I’m a whore.” Damn. I didn’t know that. “She looks evil and is evil.”
“Aiden’s here,” Rosie gasps. I shake my head, stifling a laugh. “He’s in the bathroom,” I hear Grayson reply. “I just want to kiss you. It feels like I haven’t seen you in so long.”
“What we doing, roomies?” I say to both my roommates because it turns out Rosie is moving in with us.
“You couldn’t have given us ten more minutes?” he asks, throwing a throw pillow at me. A snort escapes me as I catch the pillow. “Please. We both know it would have taken more than ten minutes.”
“It’s a chick flick about a girl who’s dying.” “Fuck.” “Yeah.” “They’re going to cry.” He laughs. “As I said. Good luck.”
“The more you talk, the more I can see how obsessed you are with me.”
“I’d love to look up at the bleachers, seeing you in a cute little outfit and some pom-poms, screaming my name.”
“He’s killing my will to live,” she says dryly.
“Not very social of you.” “I have no problem being social,” she replies. “Just with dealing with arrogant assholes.”
shrugs. “Would you care if I said last week’s game was way out of character from you?”
“So you really do watch my games,” I tease her. Can’t really disagree with her. It was out of character. I hear a sigh from her that makes my eyes flash to hers. “Cocky
as usual. Even when I’m criticizing you, you seem to hear a compliment.”
“You seem to enjoy it, who am I t...

They’re green. Never noticed that before, but my god, they’re so green. Like freshly cut limes and just as bittersweet, so big and round, with long lashes framing them.
“Buy something pretty for me, baby.” Those bright green eyes narrow, scowling at me,
Who the hell is this girl? And why do I want to get to know her?
“Grayson doesn’t want to play.” “Hell no,” he says, clutching onto Rosie. “I don’t want to kiss anyone but you.”
“Leila.” His deep, gruff voice makes me shiver when I see everyone’s eyes on me. “You came.” I decide to play coy, blinking up at him. “And you are?”
Not Aiden, though; he laughs, a smile spreading across his face.
“Leila here is my biggest fan. Isn’t that right?” Gabi laughs beside me, and I glare at her. “What?” she asks innocently. “It’s funny.” Traitor.
The idea of kissing him has my blood pumping, but I can’t let him know that. He shakes his head. “I find that hard to believe.”
“That’s just because you’re conceited.” He tuts, leaning in closer. “Not conceited, baby. Just confident.”
course I do, Leila,” he emphasizes, making me look at his eyes instead of his lips. “Did you just want to hear me say it?” he teases. “You can hear me say it all you want. Just kiss me first.”
want to say something, but instead, I lean in. Dios. I’m going to regret this.
It’s hard to feel bad when her pink, plump lips meet mine in a soft kiss. The way she allows my mouth to move over hers, so in sync, letting our lips get tangled as she returns the kiss. Holy fuck. I bite back a moan when her tongue swipes over my lip, sliding in my mouth.
My hands press deeper into the floor, leaning into her, tempted to pull her flush to me. I want to feel the way her breath gets caught in her lungs; I want to slip my hands into her hair and feel her body close to mine. I want to slide my tongue inside her mouth and taste her. I want to deepen this kiss,
“Wha—” I open my eyes, suddenly reminded of the circle of people surrounding us that just watched that kiss. I was so lost in the moment ...

still feeling her on them, still tasting her. Shit. That was a good kiss. “Well.” Grayson clears his throat. “That was something.” “I’ve had better,” Leila repli...

“You’re a bad kisser, Aiden. Hate to break it to you.” Whispers fill the room as I process what she’s telling me. “I’m a bad kisser?” I ask her in disbelief. “Never had any complaints before.”
She rolls her eyes at me. Fuck, why do I find that so sexy?
until I see a flash of green against a wall. Can’t see much of her, though; another guy’s body is in the way. I cross my arms, leaning against the wall while listening to her laugh. It’s not the laugh I’ve heard before, though; it’s strained and tense, almost uncomfortable.
“You know I can make it worth your time.” My eyebrows lift, wondering what Leila will say. Does she like this guy? “The first time was more than enough.”
“Just let it go.” Her hand presses against his chest, pushing him back. “C’mon,” he growls, stepping closer to her. ...

“When a girl pushes you off her, it usually means she isn’t interested.” “Oh shit, Pierce,” the guy says, letting out a strained laugh. “Tough game last week, huh?”
“What were you two talking about?”
“Crazy thing. I forgot where your bathroom was. I was just ask...

“You okay?” I ask her. “She’s fine. I really was just lost.” “There’s a bathroom downstairs,” I cut him off. “Go.”
“Are you thinking about that kiss?” I ask her. “You mean how bad it was?” she retorts. “Yeah, can’t forget it.” I laugh; it’s impossible not to. “Cut the shit. The way you slipped
your tongue in my mouth says the opposite.”
