Aiden Pierce. Redfield’s basketball captain.
But what I’m not a fan of? How everyone treats him like he’s a God around here.
It’s not fair. He can’t be tall, talented, and attractive. Pick one.
I find it funny how this girl seems unaffected by me. It’s strange. I like it.
“The more you talk, the more I can see how obsessed you are with me.”
At least she likes basketball. My kind of girl.
The more she talks, the more I want to rally with her. I want to get to know her. I don’t know why she doesn’t seem to like me, don’t really care. Something about her intrigues me.
The craziest thing happens. She laughs. Like an actual laugh. Sure, she’s laughing at the idea of working with me, but fuck, it’s a pretty sight. Might be the only time I get her to laugh around me, so I eat it up, watching how the corner of her eyes wrinkle, and her pink lips tip up in a cute smile. She’s pretty, that’s for damn sure.
Who the hell is this girl? And why do I want to get to know her?
The idea of kissing him has my blood pumping, but I can’t let him know that.
“Did you just want to hear me say it?” he teases. “You can hear me say it all you want. Just kiss me first.”
There’s no way she didn’t like it. I know she felt as affected as I did by that kiss.
“I’m saying if you really want something, then maybe you have to chase it a bit.”
She wants my attention? She’s fucking got it.
“I’ve got to say, even though you seem to despise me for some reason,” he glances up at me, “I always seem to have a good time whenever you’re near.” A full glass of beer gets placed in front of me. “You’re a masochist, huh?” I ask, taking a sip. “You like when people torture you?” He laughs. “If torture is anything like you, then hell yes.”
“Here’s one thing you don’t know about me, Leila,” he says. “I don’t give up. Ever.”
“I can’t tell you what to do, but don’t do something that you know will hurt her, Aiden.”
He came in and everything changed. He pursued me, he asked me out, he goaded me into kissing him. It was new, interesting, fun. But now, he got what he wanted. He won the game, and I made it easy for him.
“I can’t do that, Leila,”
“I can’t forget about you.”
“I don’t even like you.” He laughs. “Such a liar.”
“It’s so hot when you put me in my place,” he says, smirking down at me. “But I’d love to see you smile at me like you do with your friends.”
Yes. I might tease and joke around with him, but we both know the attraction is there.
I want to kiss him again. I want to feel his lips on mine and pull him into me, hearing every moan and gasp that comes from him. I want to know what one night with him will be like.
“Consent is important to me. I love teasing you, but I’m not going to kiss you unless you tell me you want it.”
“You look so fucking beautiful.”
Kiss me. Kiss me, Aiden.
in this moment all I can feel is him, all I can taste is him, all I can think of is Aiden.
His kiss is better than actual fucking. I could do this all night. But I need more.
“My name sounds so good coming from your lips,”
It’s easily the hottest sight I’ve ever seen.
I need to kiss her, to see her.
“You needed someone like me, didn’t you?” She moans again, burying her head into the mattress. “Someone that will fuck you into submission until that attitude of yours is nothing but a jumble of words begging me to let you come.”
Last night was… I can’t get it out of my mind.
