What I’m trying to say is that I don’t really know what love feels like, but what I felt, and still feel for you, sure seems a lot like what I imagine it to be.

He shook his head. “What did you want me to say, Jane?” “The truth. I wanted you to tell me the truth!” He snapped his gaze to me, his eyes darkened beneath his brows. “So, me telling you that I was in love with you that day wouldn’t have freaked you out? Because I’m pretty sure—”

“By the way,” he started. “I like that hoodie of yours.” “Yeah, it’s pretty nice and comfortable,” I responded. “Where’d you get it? Because I’ve been trying to find mine for a while that looks exactly like that,” he asked, and I giggled. “I went to a cabin once with this guy that I really like. This was his, and it somehow accidentally ended up in my suitcase,” I groggily answered.
