My eyes snapped back to hers. “You. Left. Her. There?!” I screamed in her face

“If they take her, they will kill her, and I refuse to allow that to happen. It isn’t a fucking option. I promised her, Zae. I promised her that!” I admitted, as I stormed off in the direction she had pointed.
