“I’m beginning to think making out in trucks doesn’t work for us.” He smirked, his hair mussed from where I’d dragged my hands through it, and with a shrug, he said, “I was having a good time. But if you’re thinking it could be better, I’m willing to kiss you everywhere. You know, just to be sure.” I smiled at him, and he smiled back, and the warmth that washed over me was more powerful than even his all-consuming kiss. I couldn’t help but think how nice it would be for him to smile at me for the rest of my life.
