The purpose of this book is to help guide your thinking to the thoughts of love that will break the chains of fear that bind you.
Think something isn’t good enough, and it never will be. Think something is wonderful, and it will only get better.
I surrender myself, that I might be used in bringing the end of suffering to all the world.
May the spirit of God protect my mind from any forces of fear that would divert my thinking. May I not be deceived into a false belief in the validity of guilt and attack, but rather may I be constantly uplifted to the divine perceptions of innocence and love.
It is not the love given to me by others, but only the love that I myself provide, that will save me today from suffering. I call to mind any person from whom I have been withholding love or forgiveness, or situation from which I have been withholding faith in miracles, and surrender such thoughts for healing.
There is no problem that God cannot solve. He guides me to right thought and action whenever I request it.
Naming it, surrendering it to God, and asking Him to remove it—that’s the miracle of personal transformation.
The question I want to ask myself in any situation is, “Am I aligned with the will of the universe?”
I enter every situation with only one intention: to be a vessel of love and a blessing on my surroundings. May all people who I meet or even think of receive my love.
As low as you might have descended, in God there are no limits to how high you can go now. It is not too late. You are not too damaged. In fact, you are better than you know.
God sees me not as someone whose guilt calls for punishment, but as someone whose errors call for correction.
Nothing I have done, or that others have done; nothing I have thought, or that others have thought, can dim the light that dwells in me. I pray to see the perfection in others, that I might see it in myself. I pray for the strength to forgive all others, that I might forgive myself. I pray for the power to love all others, that I might love myself.
Dear God, May I not be tempted today To put blame on others. I myself am the source of my healing, as when I allow You to change my mind. May Your spirit guide me to a better place, That my problems may disappear. Amen.
I resist any worldly projection onto me that I am less than the perfect child of a wholly loving God.
May everyone, including myself, feel the tenderness of my approval and not the harshness of my unkindness.
Though I have made mistakes, I atone for them and accept God’s release from any continuing consequences.
Today I walk a softer way, holding neither myself nor others to the cross of condemnation.
May grace, compassion, understanding, and love be the hallmarks of my personality, as they are the essence of my true being. May heaven come to earth through me today. Dear God, I am willing today To be the person you would have me be. I release to you my illusions. Please strengthen me where I am weak And heal me where I am wounded. Amen.
We might have inherited limitation and fear from our mortal parents, but we inherited miracles and love from God.
If I see guilt in others, I will feel guilty. If I release my attachment to the guilt in others, I will feel released myself. God does not need me to police His universe. He needs me only to forgive. Dear God, Please remove from my mind Any tendency to judge Whom I know you love. For I know you love us all. Amen.
Dear God, Please redeem my personality, That any sharp edges within me Shall turn tender. With every word I say, May I heal and not harm. And so it is. Amen.
Dear God, I surrender to You my grievances, The people I cannot forgive, The place where I hold on and cannot let go, The darkness in my own heart. Please remove the sickness Of unforgiveness From my soul. And so it is. Amen.
Dear God, You have given me such special gifts, And yet I block them when I deny Your love. Today may I remember The holy purpose You have given me, That I might find my talents And be blessed thereby. Amen.
