Divinely inspired being precedes divinely inspired doing. I seek to be today who God would have me be, that I might know—and be capable of manifesting—that which He would have me do. As I make the focus of my attention the enlarging of my compassion and the honing of my gentle self, then all I am meant to do will proceed from who I have chosen to be. My highest function is to be the person I am capable of being, in order to do what I am capable of doing.
