“Pray to me, baby girl.”
“You should know by now I don’t like my women powerless,” he purred.
“So much fire—” he breathed. “I’ll look forward to snuffing it out.”
“I’m harder to kill than that, pretty girl,”
THE BREAKING It is in the breaking, we become whole again. It is through darkness, we find the stars. Somewhere between the soul and the self, we find what we’re made of.
When a star falls to earth we make a wish Their undoing is our redemption What then does it mean when a soul shatters? If we are stardust and moon rise, fragments of the universe, surely we come undone only to be made whole again. An unraveling— of the broken and the beautiful. Just as we wish upon a starfall, Maybe our pieces that shatter, Our soulfall—are the wishes the stars make on us.
“I would carve him into pieces—” he kissed up the other scar. “And when I finally allowed him to die—” He peppered kisses along my hip, passing the scar to hit the spot he knew I was weakest. “—I’d drag him back from hell so I could do it all again.”
“You’re mine whether you want me or not, darlin’,” He said gruffly.
lip. “I knew you were a force when I first saw you but now—now that I really know what a powerful woman you are—” His fingers lifted my chin, his grip firm as he lowered his mouth to mine and stopped just short. “—being the one to make you fall apart is as close to the divine as I’ll get in this life and I plan to continue. So willingly or not?—that’s up to you.” “I might not always make it easy,” I breathed. “Oh baby, I’m counting on it,” he said.
“I’ll have you crying out to god—” He pulled back slightly to look at me as his hand slid down my ass and reached between my legs from behind. “—but he won’t save you, baby girl.” His fingers stopped just outside my pussy. “I’m your god now—” His fingers slowly slid inside me and I moaned softly. “—and when I break you—” He pulled his fingers away and leaned in, grazing my ear with his teeth. “—you won’t even remember your name.”
He smiled smugly. “Baby, my contacts are much deeper and darker than yours—you say go, I say how soon?”
I pleaded and shook from the tremors of pleasure but he simply looked up at my tear-streaked face and with a predatory look in his eyes said: “I know you have one more for me, baby girl.”
“Well, if it isn’t Kaelin’s fallen angels come to avenge her,” he gasped out a laugh
“It’s the blood lust after a battle,” Theron said, his arms coming around me and his lips on my ear. “Makes us want to conquer something until all the adrenaline bleeds out of us.”
My energy bled into them only to come back to me and push me higher until my orgasm washed over me. It wasn’t a breaking—it was an awakening. I cried out as it lit up every atom in my body, filling every shadow and every dark corner. I felt incapable of holding everything and for a moment I saw what the universe really was—a collective energy of souls—a breaking and a rebirth, over and over again.
His lips brushed against my ear. “When I’m with you, I don’t feel broken,” he whispered so only I could hear. His nose grazed my cheek. “I love you, pretty girl.”
