there is no rapture in the book of Revelation.61 (It is supposedly narrated at 4:1, the introduction to the book’s central vision). When I pointed this out in one of my classes, a student nearly accused me of heresy for denying the second coming of Christ. I said to her, and I repeat now, that the book of Revelation clearly teaches, and calls on its readers to pray for, the return of Christ.
