On August 8, 2022, a member of the public challenged the title Let’s Talk About It, saying that “the book has several images of sexual acts” and “it encourages the reader to begin watching pornography and follow their favorite porn stars.” Let’s Talk About It was listed in the library system as being recommended for ages fourteen and up, and it was shelved in teen nonfiction.
