Big Man It went fine. Wow. That’s all I get? I should’ve known. A rock has better communication skills.
Yeah… that one guy. He’s not very well known. I’d never refer to YOU as ugly! You’re a beaut, Big Man! Like a big, growly, hairy grizzly bear.
big man You’re racking up a lot of favors, you know. Andie How will I ever repay you? I could offer him several ideas. Including, but not limited to unlimited abdominal massages. I just know he’s got a killer set of abs. The typing bubbles appear and disappear several times again. Maybe my comment was too blatantly flirtatious.
“At least give me some warning next time? I was in my PJs.” I widen my eyes for effect. “I didn’t think you’d care.” He shrugs. “Oh…” His eyebrows shoot up as if he just solved a riddle. “You have a crush on Mitch.” My mouth falls open with a gasp, but I snap it shut. “I do not.” Noah studies me closely, making me feel uncomfortable. I look at the ceiling, the drinks, my feet, anywhere but at him. “Then why are you all red?”
I just want to give them both a big hug. Noah definitely won’t let me… but Mitch might. Maybe the man just needs a good hug. Goosebumps break out along my arms just thinking about wrapping my arms around him… it’s like my senses are screaming, we volunteer! We volunteer as tribute!
He leans back with a confident smirk firmly on his face. “Thanks for coming to the game.” “Not a single stint in the sin bin. I swear I saw his eyes get hazy, but he blinked it away so fast, I wonder if I was imagining the emotion there.
“What’s so funny?” I ask. He uses air quotes when he says, “To see a movie.” Remy rolls his eyes like he’s babysitting two small, hyper children and needs a break. “Some guys can take a woman to a movie and actually watch the movie, you know.” “We didn’t watch the movie,” I say with a suggestive smirk. “I couldn’t begin to tell you what it was about.” Remy blushes so hard that he looks ten years younger and so boyish. I laugh. Mitch’s rumbly, low voice comes from beside me, “We didn’t watch the movie because we were talking.” He pins them with a steely glare. “Get your minds out of the

He leans in close to my ear, his soft lips and beard brushing against my earlobe. I shiver at the feel of him being so close. “I notice everything about you,” he whispers in that deep, manly tone. In my opposite ear, Bruce’s voice whispers, “Hey, can you guys talk a little louder? It’s really hard to eavesdrop when you’re whispering.” Colby nudges his head in between me and Mitch’s. “Yeah, I’m with Bruce on this,” he says in the loudest whisper I've ever heard. A whisper so loud and dramatic I burst out laughing and shoo them both away with my hands.
Three things I’m grateful for: Mitch, his goofy friends, and not sitting alone during Noah’s game.
Three things I’m grateful for: My little brother, Mitch Anderson, and family.
