My instincts are rarely wrong, and they are telling me that she is every bit as trustworthy as Ophelia and Enora believe her to be. “Good girl.” Ophelia scowls at me, and her unguarded reaction reminds me to be more cautious with my choice of words. I am unaccustomed to dealing with jealous lovers as I have never tolerated such behavior from those I took to my bed. It is a surprise for me to realize that I am not annoyed by her display of such a primitive emotion. Rather, I am quite pleased.
