He who was once a rapist and child trafficker is now pig shit. So fucking poetic.
But I'd rather die rebelling than die submitting.
She escaped me once, and I let her. I won’t allow it a second time.
“That’s also new. You gonna use that on me, little ghost? I don’t mind joining you in the afterlife.”
“At one point in our lives, we don’t know our soulmates at all. But that doesn’t make them any less of one. Sometimes… sometimes you just know.”
Because staring into her eyes is the only thing I needed, to convince myself she's everything I'll ever want for as long as oxygen invades my lungs. I knew it deep in my bones the day I met her. Even back then, my soul immediately recognized hers as its other half. “Because I'd tell you anything,” I answer. “There's not a single thing I'd be able to keep from you. Especially when you look so goddamn beautiful.”
“I'm not doing it again.”
The gods within have grown tired, and it's a relief to succumb to an inferno the devil created just for me.
“Sit on my fucking face, Molly.”
“I would do anything to show you that you're mine.”
It's pure fucking murderous rage.
“I want to be the only man on this entire fucking planet that knows what you feel like. And if I’m sharing this knowledge with a single soul still walking this earth, then I will be removing them from it.”
“As many pieces as you’re willing to give for the night.”
Here, if he's anything like his father, then these should work.” I laugh when she snatches the size small condoms from the shelf and chucks them into my cart without a backward glance, then bids me farewell.
She's uncomfortable, and I decide immediately that I really fucking hate that.
‘Ma'am, if you're going to keep talkin' all that shit, at least carry some toilet paper with you to wipe your damn mouth.’”
I’m furious that she could think so little of herself. Even more furious at the people who made her feel as though she’s not a goddamn goddess walking this earth that we don’t deserve.
“I will chase away all your nightmares until they grow wary of returning. They will fear me, my little ghost. But you never will.”
“Don't be fooled, little ghost, I will own you even after you've disappeared. You may vanish, but your soul will always be mine.”
“If you're asking Him to save you, then I will nail Him onto that fucking cross again. You will be my ruin, but only I will be your savior.”
I call her a little ghost, yet for some reason, I never considered that the brat would actually ghost me.
