He held his hand out to me, offering me the opportunity to hold his hand. With my heart thumping crazily in my chest, I placed my hand in his, allowing him to link our fingers together.
The last thing I heard was Chase calling my name and catching me in his arms.
He was here. He wasn’t going anywhere. I wasn’t alone – not anymore and not ever again.
“No need to thank me,” I assured him. “Just love me until the end of time.” He grinned. “Always, sweetheart. Even after time ends, I’ll still continue to love you.” Oh, my heart.
