When we allow our thoughts to go unchecked, a steady drip of lies cements the wrong patterns within our minds,

logorrhea 1. pathologically incoherent, repetitious speech.

Logorrhea - compulsive talkativeness, wearisome volubility

The saddest part is, we’ll never know all the great deeds that remain undone as a result of the undetected and unchecked lies in our lives. Most of us die with our music still in us. (Now look what you’ve made me do.)

Every second you spend wishing God would take away a struggle is a forfeited opportunity to overcome.

This doesn’t mean the chatter will end. It just means that we’ll have something stronger—and louder—to override it every time it starts.

But remember: every weakness you know about yourself, God knows in greater detail than you could ever imagine. He knows the defect as well as what causes the defect. But God says you are something different from your defects—something far more than your flaws.

thought about jackie. lets not say what the devil says or what negative thoughts we say about ourselves, but say only what God says about us.....its in his word.

04/18/18 - kids will repeat what they hear, especially from their parents. we have to live lives in front of them that we want them to duplicate.
