It’s as simple as changing up your wording from “We ain’t got no money” to something with a better future in sight. Like, “Hey, let’s plan a way to make it happen,” or “I’m not going to spend money on that this month, but we can plan for it next month,” or even, “If we can come up with some extra money, we’ll make it happen.”
