“I’m beginning to share in your dislike for bloodwitches, Blackheart.” The ends of his lips twist up, and his eyes darken as he inclines his head towards me. “Careful how you speak of them, little witch. I happen to be rather fond of one.”
“Well that was closer than I’d like,” I say with a sharp exhale. Sin chuckles softly. “I rather enjoy us being this close.”
The blade is under his chin half a second later. He smiles. He fucking smiles. “I’m getting mixed signals, love.”
“You may not fear his wrath, but I promise you this, male, you will fear mine.” Goddess above, I love her.
