Only then would people realize that the only way to change certain biological trends is discipline, lifestyle, and asceticism. Only then would they come to understand that unimagined joy and contentment exists on the other side of the cognitive bias electrified fence hemming them in. Only then would they truly understand that our decision-making was not meant to handle decisions on the scale of the entire planet because the causal forces are impossible for any one mind to gather and hold in its mind’s eye at once.
