Am I a strong, independent woman? Absolutely. Does it feel amazing to know this man has made an effort to protect me? To demand better behavior from his teammate? Hell, yes.
“Bruiser doesn’t start the fights,” Tucker says. “He just ends them.”
“Well, I guess I’m glad to finally know the rules,” I deadpan. “My plan was to just go down the roster until I’d dated you all. So much for that.”
It really was hot watching her tear into that reporter, and she deserves a very sincere thank you.
I’ve always liked Summer’s height, her long legs, but she still looks like a miniature person wearing my pajamas. I like her wearing them. I like her here, in my space, taking care of me.

It’s just so weird standing across the kitchen island from Flint Hawthorne, someone I’ve seen in actual movies, watching him shovel homemade French onion dip into his mouth with a carrot stick.
