Unless they are doing it as some type of sinister plot against Avery. In which case, they are going to have some problems. It's me. I'm the problem.

"Not necessarily. People with BPD often have a self-sense of perfectionism, trying to please others. Did you ever feel the need to try to show your father that you were worth more than he made you believe you were?"

"Kind of. Rather, an attachment of sorts. Someone you hold and value above others, that you feel drawn to, and want to confide in. But at the same time, worry you'll disappoint them. Often there's a fear that the 'favorite person' will leave, triggering abandonment fears."

"But is the reason you don't have to worry because you won't let anyone in?"

I'd give anything to just be happy.

But what is normal anyway? It's just a setting on a washing machine.

That's what makes her special. She's a fucking force of nature, begging to be let free. Far too good for this place, if you ask me.
