All in all, he looks ridiculous, but there’s something endearing about the fact that he doesn’t carry himself with enough ego to pull it off.
“Royo!” She throws her knife and hits a man. The one running at Royo’s back. She drops him with one shot. Royo turns and watches the man collapse. Aeri’s arm is still out. He’s stunned as he looks from one to the other. Finally, he nods in thanks to Aeri, and she smiles, beaming.
