There is a stigma around men's mental health that needs to change.
Maybe he’s like me? We suck it up and get on with life.
“Niet. Women are a distraction. We have work to do. I don’t care if her pussy cures cancer. If Knox is back, I need your head in the game.”
My heart belongs to her. Even if I have to rip it out of my chest and give it to her.
Men have feelings too. You shouldn’t be afraid to speak about them,
I never want to go back to that dark place and put the people I love through that again. I’m one of the lucky ones. I had Sofia to drag me out of the depths of hell. A lot of men, they don’t have that.  It’s drilled into us as kids, you don’t cry. You don’t show weakness. You must be strong. When you fall, you don’t cry, you brush yourself off and do it again. Over and over until you can’t take it anymore.
“Dig your nails in deeper, baby. Make it fucking hurt,” he hisses.
It’s funny how fine you can look on the outside when on the inside, you are breaking. No one can see the silent battles.
And, sometimes that is all you need. Men, like anybody else, sometimes just need to be held tight and told that everything will be okay.
There isn’t a cure for a mind that works against you. There is no magic button to press to make the dark thoughts go away.
